The purpose of this wiki is to give those who are interested in Juanita Delois Price's work an opportunity to communicate about it, particularly in terms of how they have used it personally.

A wiki is a form of cyberspace that allows people to change it as necessary. In my experience with wikis, if two people are editing the same page at the same time, one person's edits will not be saved. At this point, I am thinking that the best way to organize this wiki would be to form a new page for each concept and to link to these pages from this first page. Once on the topic page, create a link to a page that includes your name (you can see from my example). That way you will be editing your own page within that topic and no one else will be likely to be editing your page at the same time you are.

To edit a page, click on the button that says "edit this page" and you will see a tool bar that you can use for the text you type. To create a link, type in the name of the link on this page and then highlight the name. Go up to the tool bar and pass your mouse over the tools until you see "Insert Link" (the icon looks like a little world and it is the one on the left--the right hand world removes a link). A box will pop up with details about your link. The default is to link to a new page in this wiki and you can also make it link to something outside the wiki (e.g., your own blog) by making that selection in the box. Hit okay. ANY TIME YOU MAKE A CHANGE TO A PAGE, PLEASE BE SURE TO HIT "SAVE" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EDIT PAGE SO YOUR CHANGES WILL BE SAVED. You will not be able to use the links on the page until you have saved it and are out of the editing mode.

You may be asked to "sign in" to edit a page. I have tried to make it so anyone can edit, but I'm not doing something right, because it's asking me to sign in to edit. You can create an account for free when you hit the "sign in" link. Then you can use the search feature once you have signed in to find this page again if you have ended up navigating away from it.

If you are not sure how to do this, please e-mail me at cc1874@aol.com and I will set up whatever link you want so you can write your ideas.

Juanita was always concerned about making mistakes on the computer--so she was something of a hesitant user. But her last computer was one she bought herself and she understood something about their potential power (using "power" as she understood it!). In creating both the blog and this wiki, we will be able to bring her ideas to the people she so much wanted to help.

Sorry about the ads, but this level of wiki is free. At some point, we may be able to go to a subscription that limits the ads.
